WOYWW
My first post for WOYWW - a day early, does that matter?! I'm out at an evening meeting with work tomorrow after being at work all day so doubt I will feel like doing much when I get back ;-) (Apart from having a large glass of wine obviously!) So here is my workdesk today - actually I don't have a permanent workspace, I have to use the dining room table. I do have all my craft stash to hand though in various drawers and cupboards.
Anyway, back to what is going on on my desk this week. My new Milton and Co bunny stamp arrived yesterday so I couldn't wait to try it out! I'm planning to watercolour the bunny for a baby girl's 1st birthday card.
I've also been playing with some clear embossing powder which I haven't tried before. I used a floral stamp and a purply pink ink with the clear embossing powder over the top. I've also added a bit of glitter and am very pleased with the result! The punched stars were left from another project and just happened to be lying around!
Finally, I can't resist my Smirk stamps - another recent addition to my stash. I've done a couple of cards with them so far and have coloured the images with my Sakura Glaze pens which makes them look really shiny and funky!
I'm probably not going to get much time to craft now till the weekend :-( I might have to do an early post next week too (or a late one) as we are off to Centerparcs for the week, yippee!
This is addictive! I have joined in on 3 now and have made tons of new friends! Make sure to link on Julia's blog tomorrow to meet all the gals from across the ocean...you won't be sorry!

Great work here, good to see another new space.
ReplyDeleteWelcome! great WOYWW - oh my, aren't you tidy! Glad you've enjoyed the embossin gexperience - it'll get your nerve up for trying all sorts of techniques and images with it. Fun to come! The little Milton bunny is cute - I expect you'll get a lot of use from him. Is that a pad of multi colour sheets I see (with the square colours on the cover???)
ReplyDeleteWelcome I agree with Julia you are very tidy. Hugs Pam x

ReplyDeleteHa ha , it's only tidy because I have to keep putting it all away! I'll take a pic to show you from about 3pm on a Saturday afternoon when I've been at it for a few hours instead of just one hour next time lolx
ReplyDelete@ Julia - yes multicoloured sheets, textured cardstock, got them on ebay for about £3, great eh?!

ReplyDeleteWelcome to WOYWW!! Now you're here you'll never leave! Love your new stamp and hope to see the finished card!! I must admit I hardly ever use anything other than the clear embossing powder over any colour, I usually buy the big jars of it and put in in a small sandwich size clear tub, so I can either spoon it over or dip it in! Your workspace looks very neat and tidy
