Finally got round to spending a good amount of time on some cardmaking this weekend. Great to do something other than Christmas cards (although soon be time to start again for next year...) I'm trying to do a variety of different cards for the box at work and as there are a few babies due imminently thought I would do a baby boy and a baby girl card. Haven't got round to the baby girl one as yet but here is my effort for baby boy! I used a stamp that clever hubby got me not so long ago from a car boot sale (he is very good at picking which stamps I would like out, amazing really since he isn't a crafter!) Here is a cute card I made for a friend's new Baby Boy. I have a sheet of glittery baby images which I am really enjoying using, I think this image is really subtle but cute as well. I've used backing papers from the Funky Hand Dreams Come True CD so I am going to enter this into the Get Funky challenge for July, the theme of which is 'Something New'. I am also entering the card into the Corrosive sketch challenge and the babies/children challeng at C.R.A.F.T challenge . Thanks for looking!

So here is the first card made at my super new desk in my super new crafty corner! I wanted to make a new baby girl card for my 'box' at work which I sell cards to my colleagues from so when I saw this challenge today I thought this was the ideal opportunity! (I already have a baby boy card in the box, like to keep one of each in there just in case!) The theme of the challenge is 'new' as this is the very first Craftalicious challenge. So my card is 'new baby girl'. Made from some gorgeous images I got on a sheet at a craft fair, my funky hand cd papers (again, getting a bit addicted to those!) some peel offs, gems and baby girl ribbon.
